Monthly Meeting 7:30 PM First Tuesday of every month except August and November at Sully Government Center. Join us to hear the committee’s current activities and plans, volunteer needs, topics of special interest as well as periodically hear from our candidates and elected officials. Meetings are in person and Zoom. You must register using this link (Sully Monthly Meeting) to receive the Zoom link. For in-person attendance, registration is not required.
Postcard Party Writing Time! Tuesdays, Sep 15, Sep 22 and Sep 29
Write postcards, enjoy good company and help encourage voters to participate in the upcoming election. No experience necessary - just bring yourself, your enthusiasm and your writing hand! Postcards and supplies will be provided.

Feel free to come to one session or all three. Every postcard helps and every bit of participation makes a difference! You can also stop by and pick up a packet of cards to write from home. Stamps will be provided. We do, however, also appreciate any stamp donations that you can do. Please join us and bring a friend (or two) if you can. We hope to see you there.
Sully Democrats at the Oakmont Farmers Market on Wednesday mornings
Come join our fun-loving (but serious about their politics) group of volunteers representing our Democratic Committee to voters and interested residents. This is a wonderful way we engage our voters and potential voters to educate about registering, upcoming elections, candidates, what we the Dem Committees do and to encourage volunteer participation. Back to School Night in September BTSN is Here!
Our second half of the Back to School Night schedule is here. Hand out voter information and school calendars to parents at their Back To School Nights. We have a very informative handout this year - kudos to all Fairfax Dems who were involved with its development! One-page folded handout is below.
The sign-up link below covers BTSN schools from Sep 14 thru Oct 1. Many slots are open. If your neighborhood school slots are full, please help out with other schools. Do consider arriving about fifteen minutes to a half-hour early before the start time to find parking, etc.

Literature Drop in Sully Mid-terms are “here” and we have a lot of new residents who need to update their voter registration and be informed of the November election - candidates and amendments/bonds. We plan to again place door hangers on the doors of new apartments in Sully and some older apartments as well. Simple activity, will need to walk and use stairs. Can take 1-3 hours at your convenience between Sep 7 and 25. No people interaction; just putting door hanger on doors. Great activity for introverts!
